Hello everyone,
I am actually preparing for a shoot (a low budget one, but I have got a couple of m40s and s60s) that is going to happen inside a forest mostly. I really wanted to shoot it in the night, but due to permission issues I am not able to stay past 6pm (permission 6am-6pm) . I wanted to create a strong, eerie, horror mood with a lot of strong silhouettes of trees etc. But now I am left with no choice but to create a similar mood in broad daylight. Any tips on achieving this? The location looks similar to the pictures attached.

I appreciate the help!
'A lot of variables are there to challenge shoot, since mother nature is unpredictable.'
Overcast weather, haze machine and create sun beam with m40. S60 for key (image no 2 and 4). Roll the camera around 0615 hrs or 1700 hrs.
A test shoot and post work on footage will help a lot. Ask colorist that what will help to make a day for night shoot for specific location. With some support of post it should work!
All the best
